Tanzbär Accordion Bellows Repair
By Dennis Steckley

[ Ref. Ed Schmidt in 220731 MMD ]

Finding a replacement bellows out there may be difficult unless
it happens to be the same size as, say, a chemnitzer or bandoneon.
There are firms that can make you a new custom replacement bellows
but that will be very pricey.

Unless the papers are ripped and torn, the existing bellows can be
repaired with new 'tape', leather gussets for holes at the corners
and missing corners, and new gaskets on the ends. All these are
standard accordion repair parts, and any competent accordion repairman
should be able to do it.

I'm a newbie in the repair business, but if it's repairable, I'd do
it for you for the price of supplies just for the experience.
