Rubber Bands Around Music Rolls Dilemma
By Lee Rothrock

Many thanks to all those who responded with solutions to this dilemma.
It's big rush to see and hear of so many solutions which others have
found to deal with what has apparently been a pesky problem to many
of us.

Some have said, "Why bother"? I think it may have to do with my
experiences at shopping for piano rolls. Many times they haven't been
well cared for and have been moved about carelessly. Sometimes they do
unroll and begin to take on the square shape of the box. The corners
usually get "ironed" out at first playing, but they need the rubber band
to stay healthy and playable after that. That may be how I got into the
habit.

I ordered some pony tail halters before learning of the other solutions,
but that doesn't mean I won't try them too. In any case, the question
has been well answered and I Thank You All Very Much!
