Seek Regina 15.5" Home Model Changer Photos
By Reg Smith

Greetings to all. Does anyone reading this Digest have a Regina
15-1/2-inch changer, that is a home model (not coin-op), that is in
good operating condition and is all original, that she or he would be
willing to take a few photos of for me? Specifically, I need sharp
pictures that clearly show the original linkage parts.

You will need to remove the back panel of the cabinet in order to
gain access to see and photograph the parts. This is easy to do, being
held on with slotted screws that can be removed with a large flat-bladed
screwdriver. I need to see whatever internal linkage is present on yours
that connects between the shaft of the start/play/stop lever on the side
of the cabinet, which interacts with the mechanism.

I am working on one that has been jury-rigged in the extreme, with
obviously homemade parts substitutions using electrical wire and what
appears to be re-purposed coat hanger. I would like to put this
mechanism back together as nearly exactly as it left the factory as
possible, even if it may require making missing parts.

I have a picture of the coin-op version of this machine but of course
they are two very different animals so that photo doesn't show me what
is absent on my machine.

If someone can help I will be most grateful!

Sincerely,
Reg Smith
