Removing a Duo-Art Piano Pump Pulley

Hi, I need some advice on removing a pump pulley. The last time, many
years ago, I remember clamping down on one of the bellows and then
striking the pulley with a 2"x4" board and hammer a couple times and
it broke loose.

Do you turn the pulley to the left or to the right?

Thanks for any help.
