If this instrument was made in 1983 it will no doubt have used an
Off-the-shelf standard toothed belt. It is inconceivable that a special
belt would have been specified when standard belts of many types and
sizes are available.

There are many suppliers of "toothed" or "timing belts". Just Google
"toothed belts".

I suggest you open the following link and follow the advice on how to
identify the belt you need. Then email your findings to Solent Tools who
