The Musical Box Society of Great Britain [MBSGB} has just received the
news of the passing of Arthur W J G Ord-Hume on 25th May 2024.

The last surviving founder member of MBSGB, Arthur Ord-Hume was known
throughout the world as an expert on many different forms of mechanical
music, clocks and automata, and had authored several books and papers
on these topics.

Ever willing to help and encourage newer collectors and researchers,
he will be much missed by those seeking to learn more.
