Cremona pianos are some of the prettiest looking pianos ever made.
For many of its internal parts they used a nice Honduran mahogany that
is soft and tends to have stripped screws, so be careful.

They made several models and were unfortunately one of the first coin
piano companies to close their doors. Some of the employees moved over
to Seeburg when this happened. You see their names associated more with
Western Electric than Seeburg but both were actually the same company.

Cremona made A-roll pianos with piano and mandolin, as well as some
models with piano, mandolin and pipes. In my fifty years of chasing
these pianos I have never seen or heard of a Cremona with a factory-made
xylophone. Cremona was closed by the time the xylophone was introduced
in A-roll pianos.

The one Cremona A-roll piano I know of with a xylophone had the
xylophone added when it was restored, probably in the 1970s. I do not
have a problem with this addition as I think it makes a Cremona A-roll
piano sound great.

Does anyone know of an original A-roll Cremona with a xylophone? I just
want to be sure.
