Double Faced Palace Organ
By John Poling

I have, in my family, an organ that was purchased by my mother in 1962 in California. It is a double-faced palace organ and we were wondering whether to sell it or not. We are also trying to determine date of manufacture. All we have to go by right now is a small plate in the back that has a patent date of 1877. An ad for it can be viewed on a web page for organs run by Jerrell Kautz. Email him at, (Jerrell Kautz).

Thanks in advance for your help.

Musically yours, John Poling

[ Editor's Note:
[ Jerrell is easy to find via a Web search on Alta Vista.
[ I was not able to find the organ in question on the page,
[ so an e-mail probably is in order. Incidentally, the
[ page above Jerrell's:
[ is a gold mine for anyone interested in organs.
[ Jody
