Capitol "G" Roll G-510 of 1933
By Don Teach

Capitol roll G 510 was actually recut by Ed Freyer some years ago under
another number. Seems Ed would recut rolls even if he did not know the
number and then he would make up a number. If you look at a list of
recut rolls then you would not find G-510 as it has a different number
such as 110X Capital.

These late original Capital G rolls are hard to find. We know that
there was the one on eBay and another one out there somewhere that
Ed had used as his master. It is unfortunate that with today's better
systems for recutting rolls that no one steps up with any of these
original rolls and offers them for recutting. I have begged for
original rolls to recut and have just moved on to other projects.
