Hello MMDer's,  I'm getting ready to restore some vintage player
instruments.  The last time I did this work (20+ years ago) I had
complete access to a marvelous shop filled with tools.  This time,
starting again, all I have is an empty work room.

I'd be interested in your thoughts as to what tools you consider to be
essential (or merely very helpful) in the "dream shop" -- for example,
a list of primary, simple tools, and another list of the specialized
tools of the player trade.  Also any drawings, shop layouts, photos or
descriptions of spaces you've created, or specialized items you've
cobbled together for a special purpose, would be most interesting.

Finally, current sources for the specialized tools would also be
helpful, and I would be interested in acquiring any duplicate tools
(or tools you no longer use) for my new work space.
