Paillard Lonque Marche Sublime Harmonie
By Larry Greenfield

Hi again -- sorry to have been so quiet, but very busy with personal
items, which have quieted down for the time.

Recently I acquired a Paillard lonque marche sublime harmonie (30
minutes play with one winding), that takes 14-1/2" cylinders, and
I have 31 cylinders to go with this cylinder box. Eight cylinders are
nickel plated, and the others brass. It came with a bureau that was
used as a storage and display piece in the Paillard showroom --
beautiful English walnut with mahogany finish.

Each cylinder is 6 tunes and the box has a tune indicator, but not
a tune selector. I have no idea about the tunes on the cylinders, but
Bea Robertson is trying to hunt down a Paillard catalogue for me. Each
cylinder has a myriad of numbers, but the main number seems to the three
digit number on the knurl handle that is used to help place the cylinder
in position for playing. That's all for now.
