Russian Correspondent Seeks Music Box Help
By Matthew Caulfield

The MBSI web site has received a query in Cyrillic characters from
<clockmaker@inbox.ru>. Running the text through Babelfish gives a dim
notion of what he wants, which is information and expertise on making
"musical caskets." An email to the writer, who signs as Valerii,
asking him to state his desire in another language, was unsuccessful.
Since he is a clockmaker and not a mortician, I suppose "musical
casket" is Babelfish's bad English for "musical box."

I am at a loss to provide Valerii with books he could read or names
of people he could contact that would satisfy his thirst for music box
knowledge. Is there any MMDer fluent in Russian who would be willing
to contact Valerii and help him out? It bothers me that he may think
he is just being ignored.
