Seeking an Internet Site for Parts Exchange
By Bill Chapman

For some time I have thought that it would be a good thing for collectors to be able to exchange, sell or trade parts for instruments. I'm sure that many people, like me, have rescued obscure parts which now sit in the garage. Advertizing to sell or trade them is not really practical, in spite of the extra space it might bring. Is there a place on the net that would be suitable for connecting those people needing a part with those who have too many rescued parts gathering dust and spiders? This recently came to my attention when someone was looking for some Duo-Art control rods and other parts.

[ Editor's Note:
[
[ Since there's no Web page yet, I'd suggest that people with
[ part to sell or swap send messages in periodically describing
[ what they have or need, and I'll save them up and put the messages
[ out at the end of a digest on a night when there's not a lot
[ of other traffic. Please keep these messages "on the topic".
[ I'll find some appropriate way to index them at the top of the
[ digests.
[
[ If one of our readers wants to host such a thing attached to
[ their Web page, please make the offer.
