Player Harmonicas

There were several for sale at the Bound Brook, NJ phonograph/automated
music show last Sunday (9/22). I saw one gentleman buying one from
music box guru Nancy Fratti, that had a nickel amplifying horn on it.
The buyer was a collector of these, and said he'd never seen one with a
horn before (he also treated us to an impromptu concert!). I also saw
two player harmonicas that were NOT the usual type. They were metal
boxes, about the same size as a roll harmonica, with lithographed
organ pipes on them. One was in a beat-up original box with 3 rolls,
for $250. The other (offered by a different vendor) was in a like-new
box, with six rolls in their original little boxes (also
pristine)...for $100!
