I was just there last week. The little cheesy computer hooked up to the
Disklavier was not booted up/operational. I inquired if I could start
it, and was told by the glazed-over, crowd-jaded security personnel
that even they were not to touch anything.

The Ampico in the cafeteria was unplugged, and I couldn't get any
answers on it's hours of operation. The small unit organ in the corner,
however, was scheduled to play for 1 hour a day, when I wasn't going to
be there.

There used to be an entire pipe organ set up in that (American History)
building, and I was told that it may be in storage (only 10-15% of what
they have is out on display at any one time!). I was further told to
come back next year when it *might* be set up. <sigh>.
