The possibility of an MMD chat room has been batted around lately.
However, all of the dialogue has focused on the technology aspect.
Nothing has been said about the topic(s) to be discussed.  My question
is: What topics would be discussed in a chat room that could not be
adequately covered in the daily MMD?

Depending on your e-mail system, you may already have the capability
to emulate a chat room-like discussion without any additional cost or
effort.  ("Yes, Dorothy, you've always had the power to go home; just
click the ruby slippers!")

How about conducting a trial run before making any commitment to hold
a "real" chat room?
