Hi Robbie,  There was a big bang August 19th, and then my Internet
provider's system gave up the ghost.  This is the first time since, that
I have been able to get back on.  I do not and won't have any access to
the WWW in the near future, but at least the e-mail is working.

On my last postings to MMD, we were having some interesting discussions
regarding piano strings.  Unfortunately I missed out on all the comments
from other people ever since.
