Autopiano & Ellwood/Apollo Pianos
By Dave Fogle

Hi to all; I once was the owner of a 1919 Farrand player piano (not
a Cecilian -- made in Holland, Michigan), with a Bush and Lane player
mechanism. I got it free for the taking. On getting it home, I cleaned
it, put a few hoses on and it worked until I lost it in a divorce.

I am planning to purchase an Ellwood, (I think made by Wurlitzer), with
a Melville Clark-Apollo player, in the spring. It is circa 1912 (?).
I do not have the serial number -- the piano is several hundred miles
from home. I also know of an Autopiano that is complete and in need
of total restoration.

Any information on these instruments would be greatly appreciated !

Thank You ! Happy New Year to all !

Dave Fogle
