Cable Piano Co., Once owned by Aeolian.  Factory 2718 Pershing Ave.
Memphis, TN.  Now out of business.  Formerly Jackson & Wabash, Chicago,
Ill.  Makes Conover Cable, Kingsbury, Euphoha, Carola, Wellington,
Schiller, previous address, Oregon, Ill.  See Conover Cable Co., Est.
1881.

H. D. Cable was born in New York 1849.  In 1880 with Wolfinger Organ
Co., Which was changed to Western Cottage Organ Co. then to Chicago
Cottage Organ Co.  In 1890 he consolidated with Conover Bros.  and two
brothers, Fayette S. and Hobart M. Cable.  Serial Number Listings are
available from 1885 (3000) TO 1982 (455200).
