Hi All,  I see the swivel stool mechanism that Doug Rhodes mentioned
yesterday, listed in the newest Schaff catalog (item 5000, pg. 22),
but I've yet to be able to find the price anywhere in the supplements.
Do you know their price?  I haven't been able to find the device in
their old catalog.

Also, and please correct me if I'm wrong, one has to have an open
account with Schaff or APSCO to buy anything.  So providing the fact
that Schaff has the device is of little use to someone without an
account.  And those with an account would never ask the question since
all they have to do is look in the catalog.

APSCO has sold the device for years.  I sold two this year via the net
for $55.00 ea.(which includes shipping and handling) and made the same
offer to the person who wrote the MMD.  The same person wrote me three
days earlier asking the same question.  So it seems apparent to me that
they are looking for something less expensive than a new device.

Finally, International Piano Supply in California also sells the
device, and they'll sell to anyone.  See:
