Folks who are really eager to read MMDigest as it "comes off the press"
can find it at the MMD Archives web site with this simple procedure:

1.  Connect your browser to http://mmd.foxtail.com/archives
2.  Click on the underlined text "most recent issue" (in first line).
    The table of contents is displayed.  Look below the table, and
3.  Click on the underlined text "entire unformatted digest".

For this Digest 991012, clicking on "most recent issue" will yield
   http://mmd.foxtail.com/archives/Digests/199910/1999.10.11.html
and then clicking on "entire unformatted digest" takes you automatically
to the Foxtail FTP site at
  ftp://mmd.foxtail.com/pub/mechanical-music/digests/99.10/digest.99.10.11.txt

If you wish to save the Digest as a text file, click on the File menu (at
the upper corner of the web browser), then "Save As...", and a dialog
window will appear.
