Duo-Art Soft Pedal Connections
By Randy Blake

Hi, I purchased an Aeolian Duo-Art upright reproducer a couple of
years ago. According to Art Reblitz's book, it is pre 1925. Parts
of the Duo-Art were not together when purchased. I now have the piano
together and (to me) it plays beautifully. I am unsure of how one of
the reproducer parts functions.

There is a dual (two ports) air switch on the soft pedal pneumatic
that has no tubing, and I am not certain where it should be tubed.
I think one tube goes to each of the accordion pneumatics, but none
of the books I have talk about or show this part. Mr. Reblitz's book
has illustrations and text for post-1925 pianos only. Any help MMDers
can give would be much appreciated.

Thanks,
Randy Blake
