Hi Dave,  You might try calling Story & Clark at 1-800-348-7340.  Ask to
speak to John Omiatek, the head engineer. The new S & C players use a
12 VDC electric roll motor. I would imagine that any regulated/variable
12 VDC power supply will handle the task of supplying power to the
motor. I believe the running current is in the 650 ma range.
