Philip Jamison: I have a suggestion. I have a roll of this cloth
myself. It is used primarily in the book binding trade and it is quite
thin, colorful and strong looking.. It is wider but you should easily
be able to cut it for example on a wall papering table with proper
guide and cutter.
I was in the player piano scene since the late 50s to the mid 70s and
at one time I had a collection of 10,000 player rolls. We built
several gadgets to aid in repairing rolls.
