City of New York Buys the B&B Carousell

The B&B Carousell (spelled correctly) located in Coney Island that
was slated for auction on Wednesday, August 10, 200,5 has been saved
intact.  At an 11 AM news conference New York City, Mayor Bloomberg
announced that the City of New York purchased the Carousell for
1.8 million dollars.  It will be dismantled, refurbished and moved
to a new location in Coney Island.

Coney Island, located in Brooklyn, New York, is one of the countries
oldest amusement areas.
