[ "The collection owner of these rolls had the habit of placing green
[ stars on the boxes to identify "favorites" or noteworthy selections.
[ Roll 3590 has no star, and rightfully so. The arrangement is
[ terrible and it appears incomplete. The shades on the great are
[ closed for the entire performance."

I concur with Bob Taylor, having one of these rolls being 3681 "Stephen
Foster Medley No. 1". The roll is simply played, and though not without
appeal, it lacks the interest of the earlier rolls made by Aeolian.
The number is in pencil, and someone has added "Mar 1939".

Additionally, I am pretty sure I have seen rolls by W. Zeuch in a
private collection. These had a distinct "vanity publication" feel to
them. There is no doubt that these rolls belong to a "twilight zone"
of the once great Aeolian corporation.
