Varnish Transfer Decals
By Don Teach

I was wondering. Where do the band organ guys buy the Wurlitzer drum
decal? I also want to know if anyone can think of a decal they may
need that they don't have or know where to buy.

I may be the only one still using varnish transfer decals. They are
really easier to put on than you might think and I will answer
questions. The varnish transfer decals are authentic and look best.
I do not sell decals normally but I have a lot of them. The Mills
Violano hammer rail decal, for instance, is available from Larry Ashley
<Larry@DecalsForPianos.com>. It is surprising how many decals he has
in stock.

The varnish transfer decals have a super long shelf life verses the
press-on type that have a shelf life of three months.

I am the world's worst at buying everything before I start a project.
It really slows progress down when you start a project only to find you
are missing an item late Sunday night.
