Mid-size Pedal Player Organs - Floor Models
By Gregory Filardo

Adding to the list would be the floor standing Tournaphone models,
one with a spindle rail at the back of the instrument and another
model which has a stand affixed to the organette which is a table
top variant.

Celestina made a floor model pedal type, the boudoir type (night stand)
and even a dining room table model(!) about the size of a regular
walnut dining room table with the pedals hidden in the pedestal base.

The Orchestrones came in the 28-note size: Model A, the cheapest model
featuring a central roll top feature; the Model B, taller with roll
storage to the left of the player section. The other models are the
44-A, smallest with low gallery, Model B with the higher gallery,
Model C about 6 inches larger than the A Model, Model D which is a
keyboardless and first roll motor drive machine, and then the Model E
which is the largest and has a keyboard.

The American Cabinet organ made the standard keyboardless model and
than also made a larger instrument with a keyboard with the enormous
roll directly behind the keys with inlay panels on the walnut cabinet.
