Scale of Tanzbaer 16-note Player Accordion
By John Wolff

Dear MMDers, I am currently transcribing a number of music rolls for
the 16-note Tanzbaer accordion. I don't have access to an instrument,
so I have had to take a guess at the scale. Working backwards from the
intervals in some final chords, and assuming that the notes are
arranged in order, I have come up with:

  G C D E G A B C D E F F# G A B C

This looks a bit odd, but it sounds well enough on the couple of rolls
that I have scanned so far. I would be grateful if any Tanzbaer
enthusiasts could confirm (or correct) this scale, and tell me the
actual pitch of the instrument, before I progress further.

Many thanks,
John Wolff
