Player Piano Restoration in Argentina
By Abel Aguilera

-- non-subscriber, please reply to sender and MMD --

Hola, escribo a usted por el de Mar del Plata, Argentina. My name is
Abel Aguilera, and I am a piano tuner-technician. Please, I need your
help in the following matter.

I bought a Melodant Angelus cabinet [push-up player], and I need to
restore it. But here in my country there are no sources for player
restoration materials. Is there such a thing as a repair or restora-
tion manual for this instrument?

I eagerly await your response to my problem.

[One's impulse is to recommend Art Reblitz's excellent book, "Player
[Piano Servicing and Rebuilding." But it is clear from Señor Agui-
[lera's submission in Spanish, translated here, that English is not
[his language. Besides, that doesn't solve the problem of where to
[find restoration supplies. Any solutions to these two dilemmas?
