Effect of Tracker Bar Hose Length on Repetition

To reinforce that, I can relate my experience of many years ago
while listening to the St Paul's Cathedral organ from the "Whispering
Gallery" above.  I could see the organist's hand playing chromatic
scales up and down the top keyboard.  While the hand ran back down
I could hear the sound of the pipes still running up!

Of course, this has nothing to do with length of tubing involved, but
is ample evidence of the problem being compounded by acoustics.
