In response to my posting in the 080427 MMD about Ed's plans to
activate his 8-to-the-inch perforator to cut B.A.B. rolls, I received
several off-list emails telling me that the writers had tried multiple
times in the past without success to telephone Ed, using the same phone
number I gave in my posting.

I have no explanation for that, in light of Ed's desire to talk about
organs and rolls.  It is clear that there is significant interest in
the project Ed envisions.  But how to communicate that to him short of
writing a letter?
