Bill,  I believe Burl said a square wave and not a sine wave.  Square
waves have very high harmonic content.  Sharp edges in the time domain
always mean high frequency content in the frequency domain.  I think
his idea is a valid one.  It might be a bit of overkill, but I bet it
would work.
