"Serenade" by A. E. Titl
By Douglas Henderson

Hi, Titl's "Serenade" is "Blissful Tryst" in the Artcraft catalogue,
a word/story roll originally by QRS and one of my few recuts that
wasn't remastered. The subtitle is "The Saga of André and Lila,"
and it's attributed to Lee S. Roberts for that roll and its story.

It's good music, however. It sounds like Sturkow-Ryder and Roberts
playing one of their QRS duets, but has some possibly pseudonym
pianists on the label.

This piece was so raunchy and maudlin that QRS put it out two more
times with different stories, neither with the passion and unintentional
hilarity of the 1st edition.
