Ampico B Subdue Switch
By Spencer Chase

I would like to remove the complete drawer from my Ampico B as I do
not play rolls and have an E-Roll system installed. Everything looks
straight-forward and well-enough documented in the service manual with
one exception: there is no information on how the modifying switch
works.

I want the system to operate as if the modifying switch is in the
Normal (not Subdued) position. I can trace the tubing and figure it
out but it would help if someone knows what connection I can make in
the piano to achieve this once the drawer is removed.

As far as I can tell, all I need to do is plug all the tracker bar
tubes, the vacuum supply to the drawer and to make sure that the stack
cutoff signal tube is connected properly. If there is anything else
that needs to be done I would appreciate knowing.

Best regards,
Spencer Chase
