FS: Player Organ in Alameda, California
By Lorna Shashinda

Greetings, I went to a local estate sale today at 3263 Fernside Blvd.
in Alameda, California (near San Francisco). There is a parlor organ
there that has pipes and stops as one might expect on an antique organ,
and it also has a player mechanism and a fan/motor. The dealer running
the sale did not know how to engage the player mechanism, but the organ
seemed to play in the normal fashion. I'm sorry my description is so
vague; this is not my area of expertise. The item looks to be in really
great condition.

There was also a Victor (I think) talking machine in need of repair and
a cylinder player. Also a lot of piano (organ?) rolls.

You are welcome to contact the dealers running the sale. I told one
of the owners, Noah, that I would be posting this info to our listserv.
He is 'good people' and I have purchased many, many great items from
him at fair prices. He will tell you exactly what an item is, to the
best of his knowledge, which is rather extensive. Here's the contact
information (telephoning would be best in this instance):
