English Street Organ & Piano Repertoire
By Ken Vinen

This is just an idea and I do hope it could be a helpful place to
research. Considering that barrels for "street" music would have had
to be kept up to date with the tunes of the day, they were re-pinned
frequently, so I doubt that stock item "tune lists" would exist.

My idea is that tunes of that period could be discovered on selections
for other mechanical music devices of that time such as music boxes
and organettes. These lists are available and to be found in re-printed
catalogues, original lists that survive, and from the several sources
that offer copies of that original music, so we can have "soft ware" to
enjoy on our antique instruments.

Best to all --
Ken Vinen, Aylmer, Ontario, Canada
