I have just learned from Ian Alderman his long-time companion,
Roy Davis, passed away today, July 25, 2011.  Roy had been
experiencing lung disease for some time and has recently been
on oxygen.  He went to hospital last Thursday and his disease
progressed to conclusion very rapidly.  Those of us who know
Ian are now especially concerned for him as he has not been in
the best of health recently himself.

I am sure Ian will appreciate hearing expressions of sympathy
from all who know him, and knew Roy, at this time of his great
grief.  It was through Roy's efforts that Ian has been able to
make his continued substantial contributions arranging music for
organ grinders throughout the World.
