vanBasco's Karaoke Player Computer Program
By Wade Newton

I have been using vanBasco's Karaoke Player for years. I've used
earlier versions, as well as newer versions, without a hitch on
different Microsoft operating systems. I think it is an excellent
MIDI & karaoke file player -- very solid and reliable. I don't
normally use the Karaoke screen except to see roll information, so
to me it's simply a wonderful MIDI player.

No, you can't edit with it, but you can build playlists and store
tempo, pitch, and volume changes for each tune in the playlist.
The actual MIDI files are not modified. I use the auto-play feature
frequently to play through my playlists.

Heads up on one regard. When you install the software it will change
the MIDI file icon, but you can easily undo this if you don't like the
icon (a blue octagon with a speaker and note). I find the icon quite
okay and it easily stands out for identifying my MIDI files.
