Hi All,  I've posted pictures of the pulley for the steamboat pump

After looking at it very carefully, I'm inclined to believe that it
was round before it started to 'explode' (corrode from the inside-out).
I also noticed one more important fact.  The pulley is shaped like
a pentagon, not a hexagon (it has five arms, not six).

The owner says he thinks it was made out of a zinc/nickel compound
(or perhaps 'pot metal').  Also, he would like to find someone who
makes or sells the leather drive belts.
