FS: 1902 Angelus Push-up Player in Los Angeles
By Harry Arends

I am parting with a 1902 Angelus Push-up piano player (or Vorsetzer)
made by the Wilcox & White Company in Meridan, Connecticut, inspected
on November 13, 1902. It is a handsome small dark mahogany cabinet
with a glass-fronted piano roll mechanism on the top edge and pump
pedals at the bottom.

The glass fronted cover opens back up over the top and the sealing
lip folds down. The finish is alligatored. One of the "fingers"
is broken, but should be easily repaired. It plays approximately
five octaves.

It's really in pretty good shape, but does need at least the bellows
to be rebuilt. The framework on the right of the pedals is broken
and it shows some of the usual wear and tear of an original machine.
There is some minor chipping of the veneer at the bottom of the side
panels. Photographs are available at

I am asking $350.00. The unit is located in Los Angeles, California.
