Seek Flywheel for 20-note Hofbauer Crank-organ
By Charles Davis

Hello MMDers, Does anyone know where or how I might obtain a round
wheel crank to replace my regular crank handle on my "new" 25 year-old
20-note Hofbauer crank organ? We just received this organ from an
owner in Ohio a couple of weeks ago.

I just feel that the wheel-type of crank will help it to crank more
smoothly (easily). The shaft it slides onto measures 0.393 inch
[1.0 cm] O.D. and the current crank is presently attached with
a thumbscrew/wingnut onto a flat on the shaft. The length of the
present crank handle measures approximately 7.750 inches from the
hub center to the crank handle center.

Can anyone help me find a wheel that could replace the current crank
handle? Thanks in advance to all who may be able to help.
