Fellow MMDer Q. David Bowers, a name needing no introduction to
those reading this message, has been inducted into the Gesellschaft
für Selbstspielende Musikinstrumente (GSM) as an Ehrenmitglied
(Honorary Member) in recognition of his countless contributions
to the field of mechanical music.

The proclamation, announced in both German and English in an
appropriate old-style typeface (Fraktur/Gothic), states:

  Mr. Q. David Bowers has earned special merits in the field of
  maintenance, care and research for the cultural heritage of
  Mechanical Music.

  By a resolution of the executive board on August 25, 2015 and
  with the approval of the advisory board according to Para. 4(3)
  of the charter, Mr. Q. David Bowers is nominated honorary member
  of the "Gesellschaft für Selbstspielende Musikinstrumente e.V."
