About brittle piano roll paper, I know food enclosed in a heavy
plastic container retains its moisture so perhaps putting a roll
in a heavy plastic container such as a cake holder (if it will fit),
and putting a wet cloth in also so it wouldn't touch the paper,
would cause the paper to be more pliable.
