We've been having a LOT of trouble with non-delivery of e-mail, especially
to subscribers on AT&T, SBCGLOBAL, and PRODIGY.   We're trying a
new mailing service for these subscribers to see if we can get past the
filters.  If you are on one of these services, you MIGHT get two copies.
You may see a message from your mail reader that says "Display Images?".
If so we would really appreciate it if you would allow it.  This allows
us to find out if the mail was successfully delivered with the new service.

Over the coming weeks, I will probably send out some surveys using
the new mailing service to see if it is more reliable than what we're
currently doing.

Ultimately, the problems stem from the massive amount of SPAM on the
Internet and how ISPs are trying to protect their customers from the
SPAM.  Unfortunately, it makes it difficult for legitimate newsletters
publishers.  Sigh...
