Glue for Urethane-coated Nylon Pneumatic Cloth
By Gordon Stelter

After reading several posts on what's now available in striker
pneumatic cloth, I've decided to use the nylon/polyurethane type from
Schaff on my current project. (I used the rubber coated cotton type
on it, about ten years ago, but the rubber started peeling off after
about five rolls were played. It has taken me this long to have the
heart to tear it apart and start over.)

PVC-E glue is said to be necessary, but Bill Edgerton just told me
that PVC-E glue degrades in the bottle, so how can I tell if what I'm
getting (from wherever) is fresh? Is there a fabric store glue (such
as perhaps "Aleen's") that is the same or similar, that will work just
as well, and be more likely from a recent batch?
