Seeburg L Pump Noise
By George Bogatko

Having gone through the postings on the subject, and come up lacking,
I ask: What causes the THUK-a-ta-ta THUK-a-ta-ta sound from a Seeburg
pump (four thuks of varying level). I'm assuming something loose or
aging. It's come on slowly, one thuk at a time.

I'm not afraid to take the pump out of the cabinet, but I'm searching
for a hint of what to look for. It has great suction now that it's
summer, but it suffers from winter blues if I don't keep the humidity
up, and so forth.

Hints are welcome -- a reliable repair source even better (my regular
retired).
