In the 17.11.19 MMD Bill Maguire suggests that the MMD should
specialize more.  But in what regard should we specialize more than we
do now?  The Digest covers all aspects of mechanical music, and cutting
out any one segment of that wide field only weakens the Digest.

I for one have no interest in the "For Sale On The Internet" section
and I generally skip over many of the simple player piano postings, but
I realize that the MMD has a strong contingent focused on all things
player piano.  So I would never for a moment consider excluding player
piano postings.

So how should the MMD specialize?
