Roo Glue is pretty amazing stuff. I have no idea what resins are
used in it. It is made for gluing pre-finished plywood panels and for
gluing melamine to wood.

You can glue plywood in cabinetry without having to remove the finish
first. I did not believe this but I followed the instructions and it
did work very well. The joints made with the finish on are as strong
as the wood-to-wood joints.

I would guess that this glue will work for a wide variety of wood
gluing jobs. I would not be at all surprised if it worked well for
gluing urethane coated cloth to wood. Maybe it is PVC-E glue after
all? Someone should test it -- maybe I will someday.
