Treating Corrosion On Brass Tracker Bar Nipples
By Gordon Ramsey

Went I went out to Wichita Botanical Gardens today to work on the
"Midget Monster" organ [181006 MMD], I noticed that about a quarter
of the brass tracker bar nipples had significant green corrosion
right at the end of the rubber tubing. The rubber tubing came from
several different sources over several years.

Has anyone else seen a problem like this? I need to know what
chemical might neutralize the sulfur compounds or whatever is causing
this. I may need to replace some of the rubber tubing, but I want to
avoid putting in any "bad stuff". Any ideas?

[ You might protect the tracker bar nipples with a urethane coating.
